Genesis 6:1-22 Ark of Salvation

This chapter is explaining about the sinful world at the time of Noah. A very serious sin among many sins which the people were having at the time is, to be far from God even though they were created as the spiritual being, losing their spirituality and living the life according to their own sinful desire. Even at the time of Jesus, people lost the fear of God but become outward believers and lost their faith in God.

God has judged the world when it went to their own ways centered by humans sinful ideas and desires. They were dragged to the attractive beauty of the world and married with anyone as they wanted so they lost God and His will for them. This time is also similar to the Noah's time.

But Noah believed in God and feared God so he obeyed the command of God until the end as he completed to build the Ark for him and his family. Even though it looks strange to build the boat on the top of mountain, he didn't care about the people's view because he believed in God.

May this fear in God, faith in God be with us in our lives. Now is the time to build the ark of salvation which can save our people in the world. It is to build the mission strongly and share the way of salvation, the gospel of Jesus Christ. For this worldly thinking and sins cannot enter to the ark, we need to be awakened and build our ark with the deep word of God.
