Gratia Church Held Biblical Marriage Seminar

Gratia church Nairobi held a Biblical Marriage seminar titled "Choose his best" prepared by pastor Jane, with teaching about biblical marriage. Even though there are many boy - girl relationships in this world, but all do not lead to proper marriage. The only way to have proper marriage is to understand " God's intention for marriage.

First , pastor was sharing difference between dating and courtship, and in all understanding, it's like dating is for pleasure, but courtship is for marriage. She explained about the reasons why People date and not court, she answered that the reason is because people want to fulfill their needs.

According to pastor Jane's teaching, men counterfeit is totally different from God's view on relationship. As much as man counterfeit is in both case of woman and man basically on physical and emotional, but the order of God is ; commitment, spiritual oneness, emotional oneness and physical oneness.

To be ready to marry, you need spiritual maturity, accountability, emotional health, financial stability, occasional training, parent training, household training and commitment. She said in conclusion of the teaching that Marriage is not the end of lust, but to stay away from it, you can seek God more and more deeply. Do not have urgent heart for marriage, focus on God's work as a youth, serving God with all your strength and power, but with your hope to God for the perfect partner.
