Pentecost Sunday at Nairobi Gratia Church in Kenya

On May 20 Pentecost day, Nairobi Gratia church held a graceful Service.

Children learned about the first Pentecost day from Acts 2 by pastor Fredrick at 9:00 am. They learned how the Holy Spirit came down to the people who prayed in the upper room.

At the main service, pastor Thomas shared from the book of Acts 2:1-42, "Peter's Sermon about the Movement of Holy Spirit".  He said "Why Holy Spirit came down to us? And why this day is meaningful in the history of Salvation?" And he explained about it, "Holy Spirit could be poured down to everyone who calls on the name of the Lord after Jesus gave his life as a sacrifice for our sin. So it is so precious gift from God and it was a revolutionary event in the era of discrimination. God wants us to spread the gospel to all over the world with the help of Holy Spirit. When we do the will of God, Holy Spirit will help us greatly to glorify God's name" They read Isaiah 61:1-4 to know the will of God to send the Holy Spirit.
