Hopeful Teens Mission for OA Kenya
Nairobi Gratia church leaders has been visiting 3 schools on Fridays for their Bible classes called PPI(Pastoral Program Instructions) in June. Through the time, the school can provide the children spiritual foundation and teachings the right way to the students. As Kenya is a Christian country, there is religion subject in their curriculum. CRE(Christian religious Education) is what majority of the schools take rather than IRE(Islamic Religious Education) as their religious education. Beside of this subject, schools are having their Christianity activities like chapel or Bible club, VBS, PPI etc.
So through this serving the schools, some schools are showing good feedbacks to the leaders.
Pastor Fredrick shared "Today when I talked with the head teacher, she shared how the children changed their behavior. They are respecting teachers more than before, the lying to the teacher has been reduced, they don't keep the school fees which they received from their parents." on June 2nd. So the teacher wanted to visit the church on available Sunday.
Pastor Fredrick shared "I taught them in their level how they are, who they are. As they have sinful behavior, I point it out in their understanding level, so that the students can realize themselves. And after that, they can know the value of salvation deeply"
Gratia church is planning to do Bible study continually at the church for the teenagers who come through football team and PPI.
May God guide the teens to God through this Bible sharing of Gratia church in June greatly!
